“TARGET 1000”

AICM operates two orphanages in Liberia, West Africa caring for over 450 children. The 10 plus years of devastating civil strife which started in 1989 took over 250,000 lives, and destroyed property in the millions (infracture is totally destroyed). Unemployment is at its highest (over 75%), with hundreds of orphaned children wandering in a daze. Some of them are still on our orphanage waiting list. We especially long to help those with absolutely no living relatives. A major problem at hand is that many of those already accepted into our orphanages have no sponsors. The orphanage Directress, Mother Victoria Thomas, weeps continually for all the needy children. Please let her tears speak to your heart.

We at AICM feel led by our Lord to launch “Target 1000” to help each child that does not have a sponsor. We are prayerfully seeking 1,000 people and/or groups with a heart towards supporting these desperate children.

This program is devoted solely to our Orphanage activities. Therefore, every penny donated will be specifically designated for this program. It would be wonderful if you could sponsor a child for just $ 20.00 per month ($ 10 per month for displaced children staying with relatives). Donations of any size are also accepted.
